Evie Brechler earned a Bachelor's in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University. Referring to herself as a “homeschool veteran,” she fondly remembers being taught at home for the entirety of her elementary and secondary education, which instilled in her a deep understanding of individualized learning and the importance of a nurturing, supportive environment. Evie has always had a passion for working with children of all ages and has been actively involved in childcare and church mentorship programs for youth throughout her high school and college years.

Now, as the leader of Anchor Micro Crew Glendale North, Evie is thrilled to bring her passion for education and community to life by running a microschool focused on developing leadership skills, organizing engaging events, and fostering a strong sense of community spirit among students. She believes that education should be as much about personal growth as it is about academics, and she’s excited to create an environment where students can thrive both as learners and as leaders. With her unique background and a heart for youth development, Evie is committed to ensuring that Anchor students have the opportunity to grow in confidence, build lasting connections, and enjoy an educational experience filled with creativity and fun.
