Noema Learning is a microschool where education is personalized to fit each student’s needs and goals. In Greek, “noema” means new moon or new beginnings. Let’s have a new way to educate students. Let’s begin again . . . better . . . with more customized lessons, more self-governing, more collaboration, more thought, and more support. Curriculum is chosen collaboratively by Mrs. H, the student, and the family from a menu of options, ensuring a customized learning experience. Students engage in both peer collaboration and independent work, depending on the subject or assignment. With Mrs. H as their guide, students receive support, modifications, challenges, and occasional mini-lessons.
