Tammy Baldwin has had a deep love of cooking for many years, beginning her journey in the restaurant industry at the age of seventeen. On her first night of work as a dishwasher, the restaurant’s cook fell ill, and Tammy was asked to step up and take on the cooking responsibilities for the evening. With the help of a waitress, she successfully served roughly 350 people that night, sparking a passion for the kitchen that would carry her through ten more years in the restaurant industry. Since then, Tammy has catered a wide range of events and served as the head of the kitchen for church gatherings, both independently and while leading a team.

For Tammy, cooking is more than just preparing food—it’s about creating experiences and bringing people together through shared meals. She finds immense joy in seeing the happiness that comes from a delicious dish shared with loved ones. With over ten years of experience in the homeschool community as a parent, kitchen director, and volunteer, Tammy is excited to bring her skills and passion to Anchor Micro Crew Glendale South. She aims to equip students with practical skills they can carry through life, while also fostering creativity, teamwork, and a sense of accomplishment in the kitchen. Tammy is thrilled to help students discover the joy of cooking, all while building a supportive and community-driven environment.
